$38,200•$46,000 Teachers are paid bi-weekly, and are classified as non-exempt by the Fair Labor Standards Act. This is a one-year limited-term appointment. Continuation of employment is contingent upon the availability of funding. Essential Functions What You’ll Get to
Do:
Develop and implement a child-centered curriculum in line with early childhood education best practices and NAEYC accreditation standards. Guide children’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth through safe and structured environments. Design, execute, and assess daily programs , including classroom setup and engaging activities to promote active learning. Instruct and evaluate daily programs , ensuring optimal learning experiences for children, Model effective teaching practices for undergraduate students during their coursework or internships. Collaborate with community professionals , such as therapists and psychologists, as needed. May administer prescribed medication. Maintain regular communication with parents , providing updates on their child’s progress.
Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications What We Need From You:
High school diploma or equivalent with no experience. If selected you will be required to obtain a CPR/First Aid Certificate within 60 days of hire, and a TB Skin Test.
