Nursery Lead Teacher We are currently seeking a loving, experienced, and dependable Nursery Lead Teacher to join our preschool team. This part-time position offers the opportunity to nurture and support our youngest learners in a warm, Christ-centered environment.

Responsibilities:

Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for infants and young toddlers. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support social-emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development. Provide consistent and responsive caregiving routines, including feeding, diapering, and comforting children. Foster trusting relationships with children, parents, and caregivers through clear and compassionate communication. Supervise and support assistant teachers and collaborate with other staff to ensure a cohesive classroom experience. Maintain accurate records of daily routines, observations, and developmental milestones. Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space that follows health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of 2 years of experience working with infants and/or toddlers in a licensed early childhood setting. Strong understanding of child development and best practices for infants and toddlers. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Ability to lift and carry young children, move from floor to standing, and maintain energy throughout the day.
