Full Job Description Job Posting:

Preschool PE Teacher We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing Preschool PE (Physical Education) Teacher to join our team. This part-time position supports our preschool program by encouraging healthy physical development through movement-based activities and gross motor play.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement an age-appropriate physical education curriculum that promotes movement, coordination, balance, and motor skills in preschool-aged children. Lead engaging, fun, safe PE classes incorporating games, dance, obstacle courses, and group activities. Foster a positive, inclusive environment that supports teamwork, self-confidence, and a love for physical activity. Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate physical movement into the broader preschool curriculum. Set up, supervise, and clean up equipment used for PE activities. Model and teach good sportsmanship, respect, and cooperation during play.

Qualifications:

Degree in Early Childhood Education, Physical Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred). Experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom or activity setting. Passion for promoting physical activity and healthy habits in young children. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Ability to lead physical activities and engage with children in a safe and developmentally appropriate way. Must be able to bend, lift, and participate actively in movement-based lessons.

Independent Presbyterian Church Day School IPC Day School is a ministry of the church that offers a nurturing, Christ-centered preschool experience for children ages 6 months through 5 years. We focus on developing the whole child—spiritually, emotionally, socially, cognitively, and physically.
