Job Description:
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Developing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans (using Alabama Early Learning Guidelines) and daily classroom schedule in accordance with The Creative Curriculum. Overall supervision and daily function of classroom of children. Ensuring a safe and consistent child development environment. Maintaining an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore, and make decisions with confidence. Providing verbal recognition to all children while providing clear and consistent expectations for behavior. Observing rules and regulations of not only KidTowne, but the local, state, and national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety, and care of children. Maintaining overall appearance (adhering to dress code at all times). Accepting responsibility for maintaining necessary maintenance and housekeeping duties as it relates to the classroom, playground, or any common areas. Assisting in any other areas deemed necessary by administration.
Hourly Rate:
$14-15 an
Hour Experience Preferred Qualifications:
Be able to work Monday-Friday Must be reliable and dependable Meet all DHR Childcare Licensing Requirements Pass ABI/FBI Background Check/TB Test/a physical Must be at least 18 years old Must have High School Diploma or equivalent Complete required DHR Training (will be provided) CPR Certification (will provide if needed)
