Preschool Teacher (2’s) Children’s First Christian Academy 100 Castle Drive NW, Madison, AL 35758 Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool 2’s Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and promoting the overall development of preschool-aged children. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes learning in key areas such as communication, and social emotional development Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Manage classroom behavior effectively, employing positive reinforcement techniques to guide children’s social interactions. Provide individualized attention to each child, recognizing their unique needs and developmental stages. Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the educational experience and share best practices. Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that is conducive to learning. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Qualifications Experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or private school setting is highly desirable. Strong skills in curriculum development and behavior management Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy and other foundational skills for young learners. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, and colleagues. A nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for teaching and supporting the growth of young children. Certification in First Aid/CPR is a plus but not required.
