The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of childhood development and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children, where they can thrive and develop essential skills. The Child Care Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning and growth. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging Christian lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages children to explore, learn, and express themselves. Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Utilize effective behavior management techniques to guide children’s social interactions and emotional development. Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress, challenges, and achievements. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all children in the program. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that is conducive to learning. Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education, including first aid procedures and special education strategies. Experience Previous experience in child care or early childhood education is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles is essential. Familiarity with infant care, toddler care, daycare operations, and babysitting practices is advantageous. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Certification in first aid or CPR is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families. Must be able to pass a background check.
