The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in nurturing and educating young children in a safe and stimulating environment. This position requires a strong commitment to childhood development and the ability to create engaging learning experiences for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and those with special needs. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration. Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a safe and respectful atmosphere. Provide care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and engaging in play activities. Monitor children’s progress and provide feedback to parents regarding their development. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and daycare facilities. Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities. Experience Proven experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred. Familiarity with childhood development principles and practices. Knowledge of special education strategies is a plus. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment. Experience in toddler care, infant care, or working with individuals with disabilities is beneficial.
