Part-time Child Care Worker Miracles Child Enrichment Center 75 Lee Road 212, Phenix City, AL 36870 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to open our facility. at 6:00 a.m. Join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of childhood development. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children, helping them grow and learn through engaging activities. The Childcare Provider will work closely with children in various settings, including preschool, daycare, or as a nanny, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met. Duties Supervise and engage with children in a safe and caring environment. Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development. Provide care for children’s basic needs including feeding, diapering, and ensuring hygiene. Foster positive relationships with children to encourage social skills and emotional growth. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns. Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning. Collaborate with other staff members to support children’s individual needs, including those with special education requirements. Observe and assess children’s development to identify areas for improvement or additional support. Requirements Previous experience in childcare settings such as preschool, daycare, or nannying is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Experience working with students or children with special education needs is a plus. Strong caregiving skills with the ability to educate and engage children in meaningful activities.
