Daycare Teacher Pell City Child Development Center 202 Bruce Etheredge Parkway, Pell City, AL 35128 Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of childhood development and a commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for young children. This role is essential in fostering the growth and development of toddlers and preschool-aged children, ensuring they receive the care and guidance they need during their formative years. Duties Create and implement engaging lesson plans that promote early childhood education and development. Provide attentive care to toddlers and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Educate children through play-based learning activities that encourage creativity, social skills, and cognitive development. Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with other staff members to develop programs that meet the diverse needs of children in our care. Observe and assess children’s developmental milestones, providing feedback to parents as necessary. Foster positive relationships with children to encourage trust and emotional security. Qualifications Experience in early childhood education or related fields such as nannying, babysitting, or caregiving is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential. Familiarity with toddler care techniques and preschool education strategies. Strong communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for children in the daycare setting. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children are crucial traits for success in this role. Relevant certifications in early childhood education or childcare are a plus but not mandatory.
