Responsibilities:
- Deliver age-appropriate instruction that supports the developmental needs of preschool students.
- Foster open lines of communication with parents to ensure a collaborative approach to student learning and development.
- Cultivate a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive social interactions and learning experiences.
- Maintain a commitment to ongoing personal and professional growth in the field of early childhood education.
- Adhere to policies and procedures established by the preschool and affiliated educational institutions.
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned by Campus School Director and administrators.
Qualifications
Required:
- Ability to effectively engage with preschool students, staff, faculty, and administration.
- Dedication to implementing creative and developmentally appropriate teaching practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to uphold “Best Practice” principles in teaching.
- Capacity to integrate recent research and best practices into classroom activities.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize technology for educational purposes.
Desired:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Valid teaching certification in the State of Alabama with endorsements for relevant subject areas.
- Compliance with requirements established by the Alabama Department of Human Resources (DHR).
- Previous experience working in educational settings, preferably with preschool-aged children.
