We are looking to hire for multiple age groups. We have part time and full time positions available. The ideal candidate will provide a nurturing environment for young children, while encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development. As a Preschool Teacher, you must have patience for small children and be willing to be a team player. Our hours are from 8:00-4:15 and we follow the TCSS calendar for holidays and closures. Job would begin August 2024 Responsibilities Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment. Interact with children through instructional methods to include play, music, arts and crafts, physical activities. Plan weekly arts and crafts that support the weekly theme. Develop strong relationships with students, parents, and coworkers to support child development. Maintain a clean and organized classroom. Create and provide weekly lesson plans and submit to the director. Requirements High School Diploma required Child care experience preferred. Knowledge and understanding of child development principles and early childhood education practices. Ability to work with parents and staff to support children. A genuine passion for working with young children.
