Preschool Teacher Little Champs Learning Academy 2928 Hargrove Road East, Tuscaloosa, AL 35405 Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, focusing on their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves implementing engaging lesson plans that promote literacy, math skills, and overall early childhood education. The Preschool Teacher will work closely with children aged 3 to 5 years, fostering a love for learning through play-based activities and structured curriculum. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote literacy education and math skills. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Manage classroom activities effectively to ensure smooth transitions between lessons, playtime, and other scheduled events. Conduct regular assessments of children’s progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs. Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children’s development and address any concerns regarding their education or behavior. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills through group activities and cooperative play. Implement early intervention strategies as needed to support children’s learning challenges. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Proven experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting. Strong skills in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management. Knowledge of literacy education techniques and early math concepts. Ability to create engaging educational activities that cater to diverse learning styles. Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues. A nurturing attitude with a genuine passion for educating young children.
