iNFiNiTi’s Early Learning Center in Siloam Springs is interviewing applicants for a Teacher position that will work with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. Our classrooms use a comprehensive curriculum and focuses on building social-emotional and academic skills in young children as we prepare them for their upcoming growth and readiness for Kindergarten. We have a low staff to child ratio to better serve our kids and families. To apply, you must be 18 years or older (21 years or older is preferred), live within 30 miles of Siloam Springs, and have a strong passion for working with children. Applicants should have at least one year of work experience in a licensed child care facility or related experience. Prior experience with all ages and having your CDA and/or a related college degree is preferred. This is a full-time position and hours can be discussed at interview. Shift times are scheduled between 7:00am to 5:30pm M-F. This position requires leadership, organization, and attention to detail. The teacher should have a positive demeanor and be excited to work with all ages. The teacher will follow the given curriculum and must be willing to take part in required staff paid trainings. You will report to the Program Director. Follow Club iNFiNiTi policies and DHS policies and procedures Correctly assess children on an on-going basis and help conduct parent-teacher conferences twice each year Effectively use planning times Interaction with Children Serve as a positive role model for children Exhibit positive interaction through communication, actions, contact and responsiveness Encourage learning experiences and physical activity, through program curriculum, transitions and other means. Utilize developmentally appropriate behavior guidance Engage in active supervision, including circulating around program areas Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and remain on your feet most of the day Health, Safety, and Emergency Procedures Maintain clean, organized, and inviting environments Has a thorough knowledge of and follow emergency plans Understand and follow all child supervision procedures Abide by all health and safety standards Work Ethic and Professional Responsibilities Meet program requirements for attendance Meet dress code Maintain professional composure during hectic times Prioritize and shifts goals as needed and recognize that child/staff welfare come first Show initiative and is open to new ideas Other Related Duties as
