Floater/afternoon infant teacher Little Lambs Learning Center 201 S Chestnut St, Morrilton, AR 72110 Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated infant and toddler Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of childhood development and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early educational experiences of our students, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning. Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies as necessary. Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain a safe and respectful classroom atmosphere. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development and classroom activities. Support literacy education through engaging activities that promote reading and language skills. Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive environment that meets the diverse needs of all students. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Ensure compliance with child welfare regulations and standards. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies. Experience in daycare or preschool settings is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff. Ability to plan lessons that incorporate standardized testing requirements while maintaining an engaging curriculum. Familiarity with behavior management techniques that support positive child interactions. Commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all children.
