Floater Journey Kids Village 1701 Disciple Dr, Jonesboro, AR 72405 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Floater to join our educational team. The Floater will provide support across various classrooms, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children. This role is essential in maintaining continuity of care and education, allowing teachers to focus on lesson delivery while ensuring that all students receive the attention they need. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a strong ability to communicate effectively with both children and staff. Duties Assist in the supervision of children in various classroom settings, ensuring their safety and well-being. Support teachers with lesson planning and classroom management to enhance the learning experience. Engage with children in activities that promote literacy education, math skills, and physical education. Provide care for toddlers, including diapering, feeding, and facilitating playtime. Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding child welfare and developmental progress. Adapt to different classroom environments and teaching styles as needed. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Qualifications Experience or education in Early Childhood Education is preferred. Knowledge of child welfare practices and private school environments is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Familiarity with literacy education techniques and teaching physical education is desirable. Ability to manage classroom dynamics and maintain a positive learning atmosphere. Skills in lesson planning are beneficial but not required. A genuine love for working with children and fostering their growth.
