Infant Teacher Journey Kids Village 1701 Disciple Dr, Jonesboro, AR 72405 Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves designing engaging lesson plans, implementing age-appropriate activities, and ensuring the safety and well-being of each child in the classroom. Duties Develop and implement creative lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Provide a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children. Engage children in activities that promote learning through play, exploration, and discovery. Monitor and assess children’s progress in various developmental areas including social skills, language development, and motor skills. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s development and classroom activities. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies. Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience for children. Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that is conducive to learning. Requirements Proven experience in childcare or preschool settings is preferred; babysitting experience is a plus. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Familiarity with special education needs is beneficial for supporting all learners. Skills in infant care, toddler care, and general caregiving are essential for this role. First aid certification is highly desirable to ensure the safety of all children. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to manage classroom behavior positively while fostering a supportive learning environment. A genuine passion for teaching young children and contributing to their growth and development.
