The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, focusing on their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves implementing engaging curriculum activities that promote learning through play and exploration. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and foster childhood development. Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration. Provide individualized attention to each child, ensuring their emotional and physical needs are met. Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere. Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children’s learning and development at home. Conduct assessments to monitor children’s progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of early childhood education practices. Experience Previous experience in toddler care, daycare, or preschool settings is highly desirable. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques. Experience in curriculum development that incorporates the themes the director as set in place. A passion for working with young children and a commitment to fostering their growth in a nurturing environment.
