Essential Duties and Responsibilities Plan and implement individual and group daily learning experiences for children that advance their school readiness skills and stimulates language, social, emotional, and motor skills growth. Oversee the management and supervision of children in order to ensure a safe, clean, and healthy learning environment. Ensure implementation of the agency approved curriculum plan. Ensure progress in all areas of child development and early learning as outlined in the Head Start Child Development and Early Learning Framework, Teaching Strategies Gold and Kindergarten School Readiness Skills. Form relationships with parents to foster effective learning environments for the child. Ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, Arkansas Minimum Licensing requirements and other federal and state regulations. Maintain records and reporting systems and ensure accurate and timely information is entered into agency data tracking systems. Education/Experience Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. One year teaching preschool children is preferred.
