Early Childhood Development Specialist Position Available In Jefferson, Arkansas

Early Childhood Development Specialist Jenkins Memorial Center 2410 Rike Dr, Pine Bluff, AR 71603 Early Childhood Developmental Specialist (EIDT Coordinator) Complete yearly evaluations for all children assigned. Complete Annual reviews. Write an Individual Treatment Plan. Complete intake of all referrals, following the procedure from intake to treatment. Make sure well-child checkups are current on all children. Help increase our enrollment Monitor all classrooms, help with classroom management by giving advice on daily schedules and managing hard to handle children. Get to know all children and help teachers modify the classroom to serve all children appropriately. Keep abreast of any problems related to teacher/child relationships and teacher/parent relationships.. Monitor arrival and departure of children. Daily attendance and track child absences. Monitor data, include daily notes, and billing. Complete weekly progress notes in each classroom. Cover lunch breaks and teacher absences when necessary. Assist in staff training sessions. Know and follow EIDT and Childcare Regulations. Keep abreast of changes Qualifications – An ECDS must have a bachelor’s degree, plus one (1) of the following An early childhood or early childhood special education certificate A child development associate certificate (CDA) A birth to pre-k credential, or Documented experience working with children with special needs and twelve (12) hours of completed college courses in any of the following areas: Early Childhood. Child Development. Special Education Elementary Education Child and family Studies.
