Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PreK Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a love for learning and helping our youngest students develop foundational skills. This role involves creating engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of our PreK students.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the district’s curriculum and best practices in early childhood education. Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that supports the physical and emotional well-being of all students. Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to engage young learners in meaningful and playful learning experiences. Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development among students. Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to support student learning and development. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and standards.

Qualifications:

Valid Connecticut State Department of Education (CTDOE) certification . Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies for young children. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Commitment to continuous professional growth and development.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with technology integration in the classroom. Familiarity with early childhood education. Experience working in a diverse and inclusive educational setting.
