Assistant Director of Early Childhood Education KidWorks 120 SW 130th Way, Newberry, FL 32669 Job Overview KidWorks Preschool at Tioga Town Center is hiring for an Assistant Preschool Director to join our management team. You’ll work in coordination with a co-assistant director and directly with the school’s Director and owners handling the day-to-day operations of the school, performing administrative tasks, and taking an active role in being involved in the classrooms and managing the teaching staff. Responsibilities This is a high energy position that requires a self starter who recognizes issues as they emerge and can respond quickly and competently, often with limited direction from owners or other members of the management team. The day to day operations are very fluid and require an Assistant Director who is flexible, can think on their feet, and can competently solve problems as they arise, often without warning. Qualifications CDA or Staff Credential in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience as an Assistant Director in a large commercial preschool setting. Strong knowledge of curriculum development, childhood development principles, and classroom management techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff. A passion for fostering a love of learning in young children.
