Full Job Description Description:

The ideal candidate will be caring, understanding, flexible and fun, with a passion for working with young children. This position requires working with children 3-4 years old. The work is performed under DCF guidelines and the supervision of the principal. All duties, schedules and responsibilities are assigned by the principal.

Requirements:

Child Development Associate Degree or Associate of Arts Degree. Completion of the 45 hour DCF Training Requirement desirable. Successful completion of background checks for The Diocese of Orlando . Ability to actively and physically engage with young children included but not limited to lifting, standing, stooping, sitting, walking, reaching, carrying, etc. The teacher agrees to abide by the educational policies and procedures of both the Diocese of Orlando, as well as local school procedures and helps to provide an environment that promotes the ministry of Catholic Education. Requires an appreciation and respect for the Catholic Church and its teachings. Church employees must conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with and supportive of the mission and purpose of the Church. Their public behavior must not violate the faith, morals or laws of the Church or the policies of the diocese. 25 hours a week; Monday-Friday
