Daycare Teacher Confidential Pembroke Pines, FL 33024 We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Daycare Teacher to join our team! In this role, you will help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for infants and toddlers. We are looking for someone passionate about early childhood development, committed to fostering growth through play, exploration, and structured learning activities.
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. Supervise, engage, and interact with children throughout the day, maintaining a safe and welcoming atmosphere. Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, hygiene maintenance, and soothing routines. Observe and document children’s developmental milestones, communicating progress with parents and guardians. Foster positive behavior management techniques, encouraging cooperation, empathy, and independence. Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a warm and cohesive classroom environment. Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating learning space. Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and support the individual needs of each child, including those with developmental differences if applicable.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of child development principles and early learning best practices. Previous experience working with young children (experience with infants or toddlers highly preferred). Experience supporting children with special needs is a plus. Infant and toddler care knowledge, including feeding and diapering best practices. Current First Aid and CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Strong communication skills to build trust and partnerships with families. Patience, creativity, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for working with young children. Why Join Us?
