5-6 hours per week, 1-2 days per week Position Overview We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and creative Preschool Music Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will bring a love of music and a passion for working with young children, from age one through pre-K. This part-time position involves leading engaging, age-appropriate music sessions for each classroom on a rotating weekly schedule. Key Responsibilities Lead interactive music sessions for children ages 12 months through 5 years old Introduce basic musical concepts through singing, rhythm, movement, instruments, and storytelling Collaborate with classroom teachers to align music experiences with curriculum themes Foster a joyful and inclusive environment that supports children’s developmental and emotional growth through music Support special programs, holiday celebrations, and school events as needed Qualification Experience working with young children in a preschool or early childhood setting Background in music education, early childhood education, or a related field Ability to play an instrument (e.g., guitar, ukulele, keyboard) strongly preferred Energetic, patient, and engaging teaching style Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, organized, and flexible with scheduling Knowledge of Jewish holidays and curriculum a plus. Schedule & Compensation Approximately 5-6 hours per week Flexible schedule: sessions can be scheduled across one or two days depending on your availability Competitive hourly rate based on experience
