Toddler/Preschool Teacher Kidstown 3890 North Andrews Avenue, Oakland Park, FL 33309 Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early educational experiences of our students, ensuring their social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities and structured learning. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning. Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting respect and cooperation among students. Provide individualized attention to each child, catering to their unique learning styles and needs. Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s development, achievements, and areas for improvement. Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall educational experience within the preschool setting. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that meets health and safety regulations. Skills Strong classroom management skills to create an organized and productive learning atmosphere. Experience in toddler care, demonstrating patience and understanding of young children’s needs. Proficiency in tutoring techniques that support individual learning goals. Knowledge of behavior management strategies to address various challenges in the classroom. Background in childcare with an emphasis on nurturing developmentally appropriate practices. Experience working with students in early childhood education settings is highly desirable. Ability to contribute to curriculum development that engages children in meaningful learning experiences. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures as applicable to preschool education. Competency in teaching foundational math concepts through fun and interactive methods.
