Months Job Description:
North Florida Child Development is seeking a dedicated Teachers to lead developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum for preschool and/or infant/toddler classrooms. This role ensures compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and Florida childcare regulations while fostering children’s growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lesson plans to support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Supervise and actively engage with children to maintain a safe, positive learning environment. Collaborate with parents, conduct assessments, and support individualized learning plans (IEPs/IFSPs). Maintain accurate and confidential educational records.
Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree in Early Child Development or related field. At least 1 year of experience in an early education classroom. Must meet Florida Department of Children and Families training and certification requirements within specified timeframes.
