We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing and educating children, ensuring their safety and well-being while fostering a positive and engaging environment. This role involves caring for children of various ages, including infants, and may require working with children with special needs. The Childcare teacher will play a crucial role in supporting childhood development through structured activities and individualized care. Duties Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Provide infant care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting. Assist children with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and meal times. Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play. Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children’s progress and any concerns. Administer first aid when necessary and maintain records of incidents or injuries. Collaborate with other caregivers or educators to support children’s individual needs. Skills Strong background in childcare, including experience with infants and toddlers. Knowledge of special education practices is a plus. Proven caregiving skills with the ability to manage diverse behaviors in a classroom setting. Familiarity with childhood development principles and best practices. Experience working with students in an educational setting is advantageous. Proficient in behavior management strategies to create a positive learning environment. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to remain patient, calm, and nurturing in various situations.
