CHILDCARE WORKER
(Onsite)Hubbard House is seeking aChildcare Worker who has a passion for early childhood educationand helping children grow in positive ways. The Childcare Workerwill work with children ages Birth to 5 years. The Childcare Workermust maintain a safe learning environment and provide directsupervision while following DCF childcare regulations. Followingdaily schedules and curriculum is also required. The idealcandidate will have a HS diploma or GED, 45 hours of DCF childcaretraining and 1 year experience in a childcare setting. CDA-ChildDevelopment Associate preferred. Experience in one or more of thefollowing is a plus: sexual assault or domestic violence programs.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English; bi-lingualcapabilities a plus. If a driver’s license is required for thisposition, the following conditions apply: A valid driver’s licenseand dependable transportation are required. Vehicle insurance mustbe maintained. Must meet eligibility requirements for HubbardHouse, Inc. vehicle insurance coverage.
Due to the serious nature ofthe Hubbard House mission, must successfully clear backgroundscreening: 1) a level-2 background screening which includes acriminal background check through the Department of Family andChildren (DCF), Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), andthe National Sex Offender Registry (at a minimum); 2) a motorvehicle report (MVR) is also run against the Division of MotorVehicles (DMV); and 3) a drug, alcohol, and TB screening. Must beable to produce proof of eligibility to work in the United States(E-Verify).
