Our client is looking for a caring, nurturing, and energetic Part-Time Preschool Floater to join their premier preschool in Jacksonville, FL (San Pablo). The ideal candidate must have a genuine passion to work with infants to 5-year-olds. The ideal candidate must also be comfortable with diapering and toilet training. This is a Direct Hire position with the school Part-time; 2:30pm-6:30pm; Monday – Friday; year-round employment Salary $15.00-$17.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience Responsibilities Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children Plan, create and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum Maintain educational portfolios for each child Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities Maintain a clean and organized classroom Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care Communicate with parents about their child’s progress and any concerns Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in Early Childhood Education Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old

REQUIRED

Education:

CDA, AA, or BA in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or an education related field

REQUIRED

Experience:

Must have at least 1-year of experience in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations – for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib Must meet background check eligibility
