Preschool Teacher Foundations Christian Academy 5844 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205 Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Early Childhood Education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experiences of children, preparing them for future academic success while promoting their social, emotional, and physical development. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of preschool-aged children. Educate students through various teaching methods, including play-based learning, hands-on activities, and structured lessons. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, classroom activities, and any concerns that may arise. Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Monitor and assess student development through standardized testing and other evaluation methods to ensure individual growth. Collaborate with other educators to develop curriculum materials that enhance the learning experience. Address the needs of children with special education requirements by adapting lessons and providing additional support as necessary. Promote child welfare by ensuring a healthy, safe, and nurturing environment for all students. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in teaching preschool or early childhood education settings. Strong skills in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues. Knowledge of child welfare practices and the ability to create an inclusive environment for all learners.
