The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong commitment to child welfare and the ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents. Experience in special education or behavior management is highly valued, as well as a background in curriculum development and physical education. •We are also looking for a part time front office receptionist open to a 3pm – 630pm schedule or 12pm – 630pm schedule•Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing positive reinforcement strategies. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns. Provide individualized support to children with diverse learning needs, including those requiring special education services. Organize activities that promote physical education and overall well-being among students. Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum development and share best practices. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space conducive to learning. Requirements minimum 45 DCF hours preferred with one year experience Experience working with children in a preschool or childcare setting is essential. Knowledge of behavior management techniques and child welfare practices. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Familiarity with tutoring methods and individualized instruction strategies is a plus. Ability to develop age-appropriate curricula that fosters holistic development in young learners. A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds in a private school setting is highly desirable.
