The perfect candidate is someone who has at least 3 years of administrator experience and is Director Certified in Florida. This is a rare opportunity to help lead a premium early childhood education school. Goddard is more than just Childcare or Daycare. Being the first Goddard School in South Florida, we are excited to serve the families of Estero, Bonita Springs, North Naples, Fort Myers, and surrounding areas. The Child Care Assistant Director will work with the Center Director to oversee the daily operations of the center, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This role involves managing staff, developing educational programs, and maintaining compliance with state regulations. The Director will work closely with parents and the community to promote the center’s mission and values while fostering a positive atmosphere for both children and staff.

Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs that meet the developmental needs of children. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding child care standards. Supervise and support teaching staff in their professional development and daily responsibilities. Establish effective communication with parents regarding their children’s progress and center activities. Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children by adhering to safety protocols and conducting regular inspections. Foster a positive relationship with the community through outreach programs and partnerships. Skills A degree from a university in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in higher education teaching or education administration is highly desirable. Strong ability to educate staff on best practices in child development and early education. Experience working with students in various capacities to enhance their learning experiences. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail. Exceptional communication skills for interacting with parents, staff, and community members.
