The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. This role involves caring for infants and young children, supporting their development, and ensuring their well-being while engaging them in age-appropriate activities. Duties Provide attentive and responsive care to children, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Support infants with feeding, diapering, and other basic care needs. Assist children with daily routines, including meals, nap times, and personal hygiene. Monitor children’s behavior and implement effective behavior management strategies as needed. Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children’s progress and any concerns. Collaborate with other caregivers or educators to support the individual needs of each child. Qualifications Previous experience in childcare or caregiving is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles is essential. Experience working with special education needs is a plus. Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom management skills is beneficial. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to create a positive learning environment that encourages exploration and curiosity. Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children are essential traits for this role.
