Your primary responsibility will be to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social development of children 0-5 under your care.

Responsibilities:

Childcare and Supervision:

Provide attentive and responsive care to children 0-5, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Supervise children 0-5 during playtime, mealtime, and naptime, maintaining a consistent routine. Attend to individual needs, including feeding, diapering, and comforting, while promoting self-help skills as appropriate.

Stimulating Environment:

Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that encourage sensory exploration, fine and gross motor skills, and social interaction. Create a stimulating and engaging environment that supports the cognitive and emotional development of children 0-5. Communication with

Parents:

Foster open and transparent communication with parents, providing daily updates on their child’s activities, development, and well-being. Collaborate with parents to understand and implement individualized care plans and address any concerns or preferences.

Health and Safety:

Ensure a clean and sanitized environment, following health and safety guidelines for childcare settings. Monitor and report any signs of illness, developmental concerns, or unusual behavior to parents and supervisors. Collaboration with

Work collaboratively with other caregivers and staff to maintain a cohesive and supportive childcare environment. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including feeding schedules, diaper changes, and notable developmental milestones. Complete incident reports as needed and communicate any unusual occurrences promptly to parents and supervisors.

Professionalism:

Uphold a high standard of professionalism, punctuality, and ethical conduct; maintaining confidentiality and respecting diverse family backgrounds and values.

Qualifications:

1 year previous experience in infant care or preschool setting CPR and first aid certification for infant and children. Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with parents and a team of caregivers. Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic childcare environment.
