Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive care and supervision to children in our childcare/preschool setting
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to thrive
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns
• Ensure the well-being of each child by following health and safety guidelines
• Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques
• Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and clean-up
• Collaborate with other childcare providers to create a cohesive team environment “`

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience in early childhood education or related field preferred
• Ability to effectively manage a classroom of young children
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques
• Experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children
• Ability to provide tutoring or educational support as needed
• Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with young children
