A preschool teacher must have a great love and patience for children. Teachers are responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, friendly, environment. Must be able to organize activities, develop schedules, routines , and follow curriculum. Must be able to create a warm, nurturing learning environment.
Requirements:
•45 hour DCF training completed •Experience in early childhood education Cleared background check and fingerprint check Staff Credential or CDA is

Responsibilities:
Develop a careful and creative program suitable for preschool children Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children. Work with small groups of children of varying abilities and interests. Encourage children to interact with each other Organize nap and snack time Track children’s progress and report to parents
