Are you passionate about early childhood education and creating a nurturing environment for all young learners, including neurodivergent children with additional needs? Program for Alternative Learning Styles is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum for preschool-aged children, including those with neurodivergent needs. Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that embraces and accommodates diverse learning styles and abilities. Provide individualized attention and support to meet the unique needs of each child, including adaptations and modifications as necessary. Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and parents to create individualized education plans and support strategies for all children. Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued and respected. Maintain a clean classroom environment. Assess and track children’s progress, including monitoring milestones and developmental goals and communicate effectively with parents and support staff.

Qualifications:

Previous experience working with young children in a preschool setting, particularly with special learners and those with additional exceptionalities. Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices, including familiarity with therapeutic interventions and behavior management techniques. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and specialists. Patience, flexibility, and a compassionate approach to working with diverse learners.
