Full Time (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) Alphabet Farms Preschool is Palm City’s premier preschool. We opened in Palm City in November 1999 with an enrollment of just four children. Since then, we have grown significantly as more and more parents learn of our unique environment and reputation for high quality care. Summary:
Responsible for planning and implementing daily classroom lesson plans and assuring safety of children in the preschool classroom. A team member in implementing and creating an environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive growth of our students.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Arrive to work promptly. Display professionalism in punctuality, mannerisms, and attire Interacts with children through instructional methods to include play, music, art and crafts, reading, science activities. Performs general classroom cleaning duties. Adheres to all established policies, procedures, and code of ethics. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education, Experience & Training:
High School Diploma required CPR & First Aid certified Background Screening Clearinghouse, fingerprints 50-hour Certificate, or willingness to complete within 6 months
VPK Credentials CDA Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must have knowledge of age-appropriate activities pertaining to teaching children between the ages 4 years to 5 years old. VPK classroom knowledge.
