Director/Preschool Teacher JOSCAR Consulting dba Childrens Academy Miami, FL 33165 Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage classroom activities effectively while implementing educational programs that align with our curriculum. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Educate children on basic academic concepts, social skills, and emotional regulation. Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment that encourages participation and cooperation. Conduct assessments to monitor children’s progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children’s development and address any concerns. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices. Assist in the administration of educational programs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Experience A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field from an accredited university is preferred. Proven experience in education administration or teaching at the preschool level is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and inspire both children and fellow staff members. Experience in strategic planning for educational programs, including budgeting for classroom resources. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
