The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, and supporting the growth and development of each child in your care. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy education, creativity, and critical thinking. Provide individualized tutoring and support to children based on their unique learning needs. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies. Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns related to childcare or development. Conduct assessments, including standardized testing, to evaluate student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Supervise classroom activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations. Mentor assistant teachers and support staff in delivering high-quality educational experiences. Skills Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is essential. Strong lesson planning skills with the ability to create engaging curriculum tailored to diverse learning styles. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Proficiency in behavior management techniques that promote positive interactions among students. Familiarity with literacy education strategies that enhance reading skills in young learners. Experience in toddler care, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met effectively. Ability to create a structured yet flexible classroom environment conducive to learning. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, staff, and students.
