Job Description:

We are currently seeking reliable, caring, and flexible Substitute Teachers to join our team on an as-needed basis. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with young children and want to gain hands-on experience in early childhood education.

Responsibilities:

Assist or lead in classrooms when regular staff are absent Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment Follow the daily schedule and routines set by lead teachers Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs Communicate effectively with staff, children, and families

Qualifications:

Experience working with young children preferred High school diploma or equivalent required English speaker; bilingual preferred Completion of DCF 45 Hours Childcare Training (or willingness to obtain) CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Must pass a background check and meet state childcare requirements Positive attitude, flexibility, and dependability
