Opportunity for advancement Paid time off Training & development Description Little Ones Academy has an immediate opening for a toddler teacher. We are looking for qualified Teachers with a passion for working with young students. We seek creative people with positive attitudes and a love for children. Learning through play is a key component of our program, so get ready to have fun.

Qualifications Requirements:

Must be 21+ Experience in working with children 1 year – 3 years old Teachers must have, at minimum, an active FCCPC(CDA) or Associates in Early Childhood. Must be able to use a computer and have data entry skills. Must be dependable and possess an excellent work ethic. Must be able to accept guidance and supervision during the work shift. CPR and First Aid certifications obtain within 60 days Must complete fingerprinting and background check Must be able to lift 40 pounds, bend, stop, crouch, reach, sit, sit on the floor, crawl, walk, talk, and have visual acuity. Must have experience with CLASS and/or be willing to complete all CLASS training Responsibilities A Lead Teacher’s responsibilities include collaborating with a team of teachers and administrators who share your love of education as they help us provide our students with the best learning experience possible Must have experience with Teaching Strategies Gold (+) Create lesson plans and implement them, as well as evaluate student progress Meet with parents to discuss the needs and goals of students Plan curriculum with varying developmental needs Create a safe and friendly environment in the childcare room. Give quality supervision, focused attention, and caring service to our members and their children. Organize activities appropriate for the various ages to create a fun, playful, and safe environment. Maintain a clean, orderly area, pick up and sanitize toys as needed. Maintain a tolerant and respectful environment of child and family cultures, values, and differences. Candidates must be patient, flexible, energetic, self-motivated, and creative and must work well in a team environment.
