Full Time Preschool Teacher Creative Kids Child Development Center 7564-7584 Kernsville Road, Orefield, PA 18069 Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. This role involves implementing engaging lesson plans, promoting literacy and developmental skills, and ensuring a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration among preschool students. Assess and monitor children’s progress in various developmental areas, including literacy, social skills, and emotional growth. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children’s learning at home and address any concerns regarding their development. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom setting conducive to learning. Utilize various teaching methods, including Montessori principles, to cater to different learning styles. Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs as required. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Skills Strong background in literacy education and childhood development principles. Experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom or childcare setting. Knowledge of special education practices to support diverse learners effectively. Familiarity with standardized testing methods for early childhood assessment is a plus. Ability to create engaging activities that promote learning through play and exploration. Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
