We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess the skills necessary to create a safe, nurturing, and educational environment. This role involves caring for children of various ages, including infants and elementary children, and supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and positive interactions. Together, we’re nurturing a space for kids to feel whole, safe, and seen. Responsibilities Provide attentive care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Engage in age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development. Assist with daily routines, including feeding, diapering, and nap times for infants and toddlers. Implement behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior among children. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns. Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children to play and learn. Support special education needs as required, adapting activities to meet individual children’s requirements. Collaborate with other childcare staff to ensure a cohesive approach to care and education. Experience Previous experience in childcare settings such as babysitting, nannying, or classroom environments is preferred. Familiarity with infant care practices and toddler development is essential. Experience in special education or working with children with diverse needs is a plus. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage behavior effectively are crucial for success in this role.
