Tuition Assistance Professional Development Assistance Position Summary:

The Early Childhood Teacher will care for children ages Two to Three years of age. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of early childhood development. The Lead Teacher will implement proprietary Life Essentials curriculum, manage classroom routines, and collaborate with families and teaching staff to foster a positive learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement proprietary Life Essentials Curriculum provided for the two year old age group on a day to day basis Follow guided-routine provided for the day of learning and play in the classroom with students. Establish and maintain a structured and caring classroom environment. Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and safe at all times. Guide and supervise assistant teachers and classroom aides, delegating responsibilities appropriately. Monitor children’s behavior, ensuring their health and safety. Assist with basic caregiving tasks, including diapering, toilet training, feeding, and comforting children as needed. Implement positive behavior management techniques. Maintain regular and professional communication with parents/guardians. Conduct parent-teacher conferences and provide developmental updates. Adhere to state licensing regulations, health and safety protocols, and center policies. Maintain accurate records, including attendance, incident reports, and developmental checklists. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuing education. Stay informed on best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a classroom setting is preferred. Knowledge of child development theories and early learning standards. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a team and build positive relationships with families.
