Are you passionate about early childhood education and ready to make a positive impact? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our team and help foster a nurturing learning environment for our young students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment for all children.
• Support individual and group learning experiences that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
• Help maintain classroom order by guiding children’s behavior and implementing consistent routines.
• Monitor children’s progress, communicate observations to the lead teacher, and collaborate on strategies for individual learning needs.
• Build positive, professional relationships with families to support each child’s educational journey.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a preschool, childcare, or daycare setting is preferred.
• Completion of required state training or certifications, such as DCF 45-hour training.
• CDA (Child Development Associate) or equivalent educational credentials are highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine love for working with young children.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
