The ideal candidates will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering a safe, fun, and educational environment while planting the seeds of faith in our preschoolers. The Camp Counselor will be responsible for guiding campers through various activities, promoting teamwork, and ensuring that each child has a memorable camp experience. Duties Supervise and engage with campers during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and implement educational and recreational activities that promote teamwork, creativity, and personal growth. Foster a positive camp culture through biblically based principles, encouraging respect, kindness, and inclusivity among campers. Maintain open communication with campers’ families regarding their child’s progress and experiences at camp. Assist in managing group dynamics through effective classroom management techniques to create a harmonious environment. Qualifications Experience working with preschoolers in a camp or educational setting. Knowledge of first aid practices; CPR certification is a plus. Background in early childhood education or tutoring is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children from diverse backgrounds. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities when needed. A genuine love for the children and a strong connection to a church is essential.
