Part-Time Music Teacher:

As our dedicated Part-Time Music Teacher, you will be responsible for leading engaging and hands-on music classes for children ranging from 2 years old through 1st grade. You will foster a lifelong love of music within the framework of our Reggio Emilia-inspired program.

Schedule:

Tuesdays, 8:50 AM – 2:00

PM Compensation:

$25/hour

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate hands-on music lessons for preschool children (ages 2-6), incorporating singing, movement, rhythm, and exploration of various instruments. Introduce fundamental music concepts and basic instrument skills, including recorder and percussion, to elementary-aged students (Kindergarten and 1st grade). Create a positive, supportive, and stimulating learning environment where every child feels comfortable exploring and expressing themselves through music. Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to integrate music into broader learning experiences, aligning with our Reggio Emilia philosophy. Our Team:

A strong and enthusiastic interest in early childhood education and music is essential! Proven experience planning and teaching hands-on music lessons to young children (ages 2-6). Experience or demonstrated ability to teach basic recorder and percussion to elementary-age students. Background in theater or dance is a plus, as it can enrich the music curriculum.
