Daycare Worker/Teacher Unique Blessings Learning Center, LLC 4851 6th Street, Zephyrhills, FL 33542 Duties

• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for early childhood
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
• Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
• Use effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress and development
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience for all students
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and discipline when necessary
• Incorporate physical education, math, and other subjects into daily lessons
• Assist with the development of curriculum materials and resources Qualifications
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a childcare or preschool setting
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to effectively manage a classroom of young children
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
• Ability to adapt lessons and activities to meet the needs of individual students

• Experience working with children in a professional setting
• Completed Family Child Care Home Training
• 30 hours or be willing to obtain
• 5 Hours of Early Literacy for Children Age Birth through 3 years old or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Successfully pass a background screening

Physical Requirements:

Must be physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, work indoors or outdoors and be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children

Childcare:

1 year (Required) Responsibilities

• Daycare assistants maintain the play areas, greet and welcome parents, and supervise indoor and outdoor play and activity time with children
• Ensuring the children’s overall wellness and safety as they learn and grow
• Supervise and monitor children’s indoor and outdoor activities
• Help maintain the children’s schedule and routines
• Supervise children during meals
• Maintain a clean and sterile environment
• Plan and execute a curriculum
