Opening Preschool Educator Position Available In Pasco, Florida

Opening Preschool Educator Sugar Plum Academy 7800 New York Avenue, Hudson, FL 34667 We are looking for loving, patient, reliable, organized individuals to join our team! We are a growing preschool that is under new management. Must be willing to take online and possibly in person training. Must have experience in a licensed child care center. The most important aspect is your temperament. We want staff that love children, love to learn, and have the patience to work with our children. Dcf clock hours and CDA a big plus!! Pay depends on training Hiring for 6:00 AM and end at 2:00 PM Responsibilities Develop a careful and creative program suitable for preschool children Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, do crafts etc.) Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times Track children’s progress and report to parents Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children’s background and psyche Collaborate with other educators Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards Be willing to participate in the LENA program.
